Though I’m sure that this brew won’t cost this much just anywhere, it seems that to get one in Seoul you’ll have to pay a whopping $15. Not that it isn’t worth it. As a person who generally doesn’t enjoy dunkels very much (I’m not a big fan of the carmel flavors common to the style), I really enjoyed this one. And its no wonder: this one had a much less defined carmel flavor than some of the other dunkels I’ve had, namely Beck’s Dark. Instead, its flavor had more in common with the weissbier-dunkels that I love so much, though admittedly still quite different. If you’ve ever tried a dunkel and were less than impressed, give this one a shot and it might bring you around.
